SENSE-WARE has its own test hall for extensive testing of to be developed flame detectors. Typical tests for flame detectors are sensitivity tests, false alarm tests and inhibitor tests. Several tests comply to the European product standard EN54-10 and the FM Class 3260 product standard. Especially pan fire tests, false alarm tests and test with an “optical bench”.
In the control room the tests are monitored and recorded. For effective and efficient testing and recording, SENSE-WARE makes use of the self-developed software tool “Flame Detector Test System” (FDTS).
